My first thought, glimpsing this as I got to the computer this morning, was "who has the cool new werewolf icon"

Oh, so many things affect our behavior, just not always the way we expect.  Full moons -- certainly they can affect people by seeming scary or romantic; in books, they make illicit night time adventures more likely, for characters that need light, or harder for characters easy to see when there's light.
